About the Conference
A Landmark Event in the Kingdom
The moment has now become part of our university’s history. For the first time ever in the Kingdom, our institution had the honor of hosting the American Chemical Society (Saudi Chapter) Conference—a prestigious global gathering that brought leading scientists, innovators, and industry experts together under one roof.
What began as an ambitious vision, championed by our university’s President, transformed into a remarkable reality. Over the course of the event, our campus became a vibrant stage where groundbreaking ideas were exchanged, collaborations were formed, and the Kingdom’s role as a hub for scientific innovation shone brightly for the world to see.
Centered around the theme “Chemistry Innovations for a Sustainable Future Industries,” the conference united regional, national, and international experts across the full spectrum of chemical sciences. Delegates explored emerging technological pathways, advances in artificial intelligence, and educational strategies that drive sustainability in both industry and the environment.
The discussions and sessions spanned diverse sectors—from non-oil industries to oil and gas, petrochemicals, and water—highlighting how chemistry continues to shape the future of society and industry.
